Winter

The Advent and Christmas season in Vorderloiplsau is possibly the most impressive one of the entire year. Brightly decorated houses, traditional customs, sparkling snow and the flavor of mulled wine emit a feeling of calm and contemplation. While the Ramsau valley is often under the shadowy and frosty spell of winter, you can enjoy the pleasant warmth of the winter sun at our elevated location. And even if you are not a skier, there are many activities for you. Many hiking trails are freed from snow and the frozen Hintersee is wonderful for ice-skating, curling or just taking a walk. You can also book a sleigh ride through the fabulous winter landscape to a feeding of game animals. As a skier, tobogganist, cross-country skier or snowshoe hiker you will come across optimal circumstances in the family skiing region of Hochschwarzeck which is only a few minutes away from our house.
